Here's My $2 Starbucks Iced Coffee Goodness

Here in the South, we love our iced drinks. And before Fall and cool weather is here to stay, I wanted to share my little Starbucks Coffee Drink Favorite.
I will not go into how I manipulate the Starbucks Sweet Tea. They call it Iced Sweetened Black Tea. That's a whole other day. Bless their hearts, they tried and they do succeed in helping us Sweet Tea lovers.
As for my iced coffee goodness, my girlfriend shared her secret Iced Coffee recipe and then I just recently tweaked it with My Barista's help and it is divine!
The Drink: Grande In A Venti Cup Iced Americano, Add 2% to the top, Sweeten with Vanilla Syrup or 3 Splenda depending on my devotion to my calorie count. And that is it!
Iced Goodness and the really cool thing, is this is a $2 drink! I like it better than the Iced Vanilla Latte (something just sounds wrong with turning a completely good latte into an iced creation so I never got my arms around that one) and the price point is $2 rather than $4.50.
Hey, two-for-one Works For Me Wednesday! Let me know what works for you here and there. :)

Tell Me Your Favorite Starbucks Coffee Drink

Tell Me Your Favorite Starbucks Coffee Drink! Okay, if you are like me, what is your favorite Starbucks Drink of the Day or Week!
As often as I frequent, I'll admit, mine is ever changing and with all that goodness it's fun to check out the options.
Yesterday I drank an awesome Grande, Half Caff, Half Sugar Free, 2%, Cinnamon Dolce Latte! Ahh sweetness ! My Barista and I laughed and named this the new, "Middle-of-the-Road!" Drink since I ordered everything half - half the caffeine, half the sugar, and half/2% milk!
With the coldness going on around here, hail even the day before, Starbucks Mama needs her New "Middle-of-the-Roader!"
As for the Buck-A-Roos, they are digging the Signature Hot Chocolate!
Has anyone tried the new Salted Caramel Signature Hot Chocolate all jazzed up with Caremel, etc. ??
Also, can anyone explain the atrocity that Blogger does not have the world-wide word "Barista" in its spell check dictionary!?! In all due reverence....

New Orleans "Gets Latte Helping Hands"

Y'all will just love this one -CITY GETS LATTE HELPING HANDS- NOLA.com.
Hailing from New Orleans "The City That Care Forgot" I really appreciate their efforts and actions for this awesome city that I have deemed "The Original Coffee City!" ;) Granted my Paris Girl self is saying, State side. Nonetheless, it is all goodness to see Starbucks working for good where there is so much need.
And go to see this: Starbucks Announces Renewed Commitment to Communities at 2008 Leadership Conference.
Starbucks coffee and they are fueling the economy while they're at it! Make sure you check out Cafe du Monde's Cafe Au Lait! while you're there.

A Message from Howard – A New Beginning

Here is a great take on Starbucks' stand on their Fiscal Year 2009 from Mr. Schultz himself and he quoted wonderful words:
“The ultimate measure of a man is not where he stands in moments of comfort and convenience, but where he stands at times of challenge and controversy.” Martin Luther King, Jr.
Read what he says in full here:
