Starbucks Wi-Fi offer is too good to get bogged down with say technology. :) Here's a little Starbucks Mama tip from me and the Buck-A-Roos. Yesterday, we were in Starbucks waiting for my Extra Sweet Tea when drama set in - I could not reach Wi-Fi. Now that's just a problem. Technology at my fingertips and I did'nt even have my drink to sip yet. Well a lovely Barista stepped in right before I slipped my iTouch into the trashcan....
Here is the Tip of the Day: My friendly Barista explained that when you are turning on your iTouch or iPhone at your local Starbucks, before you actually touch say, "Stocks" or "Weather" icons, you must first start with "Safari" and chose the Starbucks Wi-Fi carrier. Makes perfect sense to me. Of course, I didn't think of it. And even though folks are balking about the free internet, Howard Schultz and his people have good reason for this. Imagine everyone within a "Wi-Fi" range of Starbucks ending up on line even when they were just popping in for their favorite drink of the day. :)
