My Starbucks My Cafe du Monde

At Cafe du Monde read: "Coffee first came to North America by way of New Orleans back in the mid-1700s...The Acadians from Nova Scotia brought this taste and many other french customs (heritage) to Louisiana."
Starbucks Mama has always appreciated Starbucks CEO Howard Schultz. You can imagine my thrill when he returned to the helm. :) I've always known that Mr. Schultz is heading in the right direction. Enter my sheer delight and overwhelming joy that Mr. Schultz has has chosen my native New Orleans as the host for the Starbucks Leadership Conference this October.

Honestly, Cafe du Monde and Starbucks are two different worlds and yet their success is universal. They both have the great fans loyal followings, they both have timeless success and they both are all over the world. So it behoves Starbucks powerhouse to take it to the pioneers to rejuvenate in October.

Above you'll see the LSU Tigers dancing in their element right at Cafe du Monde this past February. The tourists were in awe. See the couple with their camera out. And they didn't' even ask... well, come to think of it I haven't asked them to be in the background here. So fair game. ;)

At any rate, I think it is the most exciting thing in Starbucks news that they are heading down to New Orleans where it all began for the USA. Starbucks and Cafe du Monde My two favorite people together at last.
